CONSUMER RIGHTS AND THE COOLING-OFF PERIOD

In accordance with consumer protection legislation, you may exercise your right to return purchased products without incurring any penalty and without the need to provide any reason, by informing DOUBLEJ S.r.l. within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you received them from LadoubleJ.com.

You should return the purchased products to DOUBLEJ S.r.l. within fourteen (14) days from the date you notify DOUBLEJ S.r.l. of the cancellation, in the same condition in which you received them. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

To return the purchased products:

  1. You should notify us in writing within fourteen (14) days (from the day of reception of the products) by writing an email to our customer service laservice@ladoublej.com. You should keep a record of your cancellation notice;
  2. The products should not have been used, worn, washed or damaged;
  3. The identification tag should still be attached to the products with the disposable seal;
  4. The products should be returned in their original packaging;
  5. The products should be returned to DOUBLEJ S.r.l. within fourteen (14) days following cancellation of the contract.

If you cancel the contract within the fourteen (14) working days, you need to return the product within the following 14 days from the date of cancellation of the contract. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any event within thirty (30) days of the day of reception of the product in our warehouse. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

 

1. RETURNS POLICY

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on LaDoubleJ.com. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.

All items are quality checked before they are dispatched to customers, but some being vintage pieces consider the fact that they are second-and. If you receive an item that is not in perfect condition please contact us immediately.

Items should be returned unused and with all LaDoubleJ garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or a refund refused. Items should be returned in their original packaging (LaDoubleJ box) to ensure they are adequately protected in transit or your return may not be accepted if the box is damaged.

We inform you that swimwear is excluded from returns worldwide. All Design products (Housewives, Kartell, vintage furniture) cannot be returned from any country outside of the European Union.

So long as you decide to use DHL using the pre-paid and pre-printed label inside your package, you will not have to pay the cost for returning the products upfront. In this case, DoubleJ S.r.l. will pay the return shipping costs for you and will deduct the cost of return postage from your refund. The fee will correspond to the original cost of shipping for the order :  free return for EU countries,  30$ for USA and  27€ for the rest of the world.

However, if you choose to use a different courier or other postage method for your return, you will have to pay for the return shipping cost upfront and at your own expense in accordance with our returns instructions.

2. HOW TO RETURN AN ORDER

In accordance with consumer protection legislation, you may exercise your right to return purchased products without incurring any penalty and without the need to provide any reason, by informing DOUBLEJ S.r.l. within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you received them from LadoubleJ.com. 

If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service at laservice@ladoublej.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Our customer service will provide you a return number.

All items must be returned in their original condition and from the country that the order was delivered to.

To process your return you will have to contact DHL directly and schedule your package pick-up.

Attach the pre-printed Return sticker (sent to you with the order) on the package you are sending back.

Customers from outside the EU should fill in 5 copies of the Returns Proforma Invoice with item descriptions and unit values. These forms are necessary for Customs clearance and will have to be handed into DHL. You will find an empty copy inside your package or you can simply download an empty copy here.

You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed. Please note that your return package will be accepted within 7 working days from the delivery date at our warehouse.

Your refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase and will include shipping costs in case of faulty items within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation. If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your cost. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items returned using our free collection service.

Without prejudice to the above, the time period for refunding the amount you paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the form of payment used:

– Purchase by Credit/Debit card: Please note credit card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately, we are unable to influence this.

– Payment by PayPal: refunds will be credited to your PayPal. The actual reimbursement to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card.

If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU, all sales taxes (VAT) will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable.

ADDITIONAL RETURNS INFORMATION

We cannot accommodate exchanges at this time.

Send your return from the same Country in which you’ve placed your order. We will not be able to accept returns from different Countries.

Returns which do not respect the conditions above or with missing or incomplete Customs documentation will be refused and returned to the Shipper.
