Returns and refunds


1. RETURNS POLICY

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on LaDoubleJ.com. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be completely accurate.

All items are quality checked before they are dispatched to customers.

For vintage pieces, please consider the fact that they are second-hand. If you receive an item that is not in perfect condition, please contact us immediately.


To return a purchase, your items must meet the following conditions:

- Be in their original, unused, unaltered and unwashed condition

- Be returned with all original tags still attached and intact

- Be returned with their original packaging in an undamaged La DoubleJ box

- Be returned from the same country where the order was delivered

Home products may only be returned from countries within the EU. This includes:

- All Housewives items

- All Kartell items

- Vintage furniture

Please note that swimwear items are final sale and are not eligible for return.


2. HOW TO PROCESS A RETURN

In accordance with consumer protection legislation, you may exercise your right to return purchased products without incurring any penalty and without the need to provide any reason, by informing DOUBLEJ S.r.l. within fourteen (14) days from the date on which you received them from LadoubleJ.com.

If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you can access the “Return Authorization” section on the website by clicking here, or directly under “My Account” if you have already registered on our site. To access the request form, simply enter your order number and the e-mail address used to place the order. Complete the online form with the information requested, including: the details of each item, the quantity of items that you would like to return and the reason for the return.

Attach the adhesive label received in the original package, which includes our return shipping address, to the outside of box. If the a shipping label is needed, please contact our Customer Service Team. If you are shipping from outside the EU and US, we will deduct the return shipping cost from your refund (€20 for Australia and €27 for the rest of the world). Return shipping is free for orders placed within the EU and US.

Inside of the parcel you also received a Return Proforma Invoice, please fill in, sign a copy and put it inside of the box. If you need a copy of the Return Proforma Invoice, you can download it here. If you are returning your package from outside the European Union, you will need to complete 4 copies. These documents are necessary for Customs clearance and have to be handed to the courier. Call the courier to schedule the collection of the parcel.

Once we receive your items at our warehouse, we will process the return within seven (7) business days. You will be notified by email once your return has been received and processed.

Returns that fail to meet the conditions above or that have missing or incomplete Customs documentation may be rejected and returned to the shipper.



3. RECEIVING A REFUND

Once your return has been accepted, your refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.

If we do not receive your return shipment, we will arrange to have it collected from you at your expense. Shipping costs will not be refunded for items returned using our free collection service.

Without prejudice to the above, the time period for refunding the amount you paid for purchasing the returned products depends on the form of payment used:

A. payments by credit/debit card: Please note credit card refunds may take up to ten (10) business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately, we are unable to control this.

B. payments via PayPal: Refunds will be credited to your PayPal account. The actual reimbursement to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card.

If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU, all sales taxes (VAT) will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are not refundable.

We are currently unable to support exchanges through ladoublej.com. You can return your original order for a refund and place a new order. Your original order will be refunded once received and you may place your reorder at any time.
