Taormina Store Launch

We’ve loved Taormina since wayyyy before White Lotus, and returning to this beautiful seaside city to celebrate our new store was made extra special by the crazy crew who joined us. We were at 110% joy capacity all trip long, heading straight from the plane to Piazza Aprile IV for a full-on parade with a live band and anyone and everyone who wanted to join us. After dancing off a mountain of scampi and spaghetti at Osteria Rosso DiVino (tables and guests all decked out in DoubleJ) we called it a night (or early morning) to prepare for the next item on our Taormina-tinerary.
A sunrise Kundalini session with the beam of light that is Harmanjot Kaur was the perfect cure for all our happiness-induced hangovers. A little morning movement, meditation and several macchiatos later, we were ready to hit the high seas aboard what we’ve been referring to as the La DoubleJ Love Boat. Between platters overflowing with arancini, and sun-lounge stations dressed with LDJ towels and cushions (for the obligatory Italian tan), the boat was rocking all afternoon as we sailed around the coves and magic corners cradling Taormina’s rugged coast.
No afternoon at sea would be complete without a bathing suit dance party, now would it? Thankfully, all our swimsuits double as tops, so we could swim, eat, and dance to our heart's content before simply throwing on our printed Palazzo Pants head straight from the sea to our next stop, where our LDJ angels Silvia and Sciascia looked just beautiful as their backdrop in their High Summer styles. Hearts and bellies bursting with gratitude, we bid arrivederci to this magical place, already planning our next adventure on the Ionian.
While we wish we could stay in Taormina forever, we’re delighted that at least our new LDJ store remains at Corso Umberto 144 all season long. Sicily, you stole our hearts, and then some.
